Communicate faster with @mention notifications in Slack

The newest update to our Slack integration helps you communicate faster and with less context switching. Now, when someone mentions you in Shortcut, you'll receive a Slack notification that you can respond and react to directly in Slack.

Use the Shortcut App in Slack as your personal activity feed

If you're someone (like me) who's in Slack all day, @mentions in Slack are 🙌. Now when someone @mentions you in Shortcut, you'll get notified in Slack in your personal Shortcut channel. You get to stay on top of your work in Shortcut without having to leave Slack.

Respond without leaving Slack

Respond instantly to notifications by replying in a Slack thread or adding an emoji reaction (my personal favorite!).

How to turn it on

To activate notifications ask your admin to update your Slack integration. Or, if you are the admin, just take a look in the mirror and give yourself an encouraging nod.

Once the integration has been updated you – and every other user in your organization – can choose to enable Slack notifications via your account's general notification settings.
